SmartDefence is a one of a kind solution that transforms any gps vehicle tracker into an advance safety and security system. With SmartDefence anti-theft features, you have a system that stops car thieves in their tracks. No other system on the market enhances the security of your car without the need for new hardware. Smartdefence’s features include:
Auto Protect
This feature allows your car to auto shutdown if any unauthorized activity is detected outside of your active period. Unauthorized activities include ignition on, parking end or battery disconnected.
Park Guard
An app based electronic immobilizer that disables your car’s engine once it is either stationary for 5 minutes or the ignition is switched off. Upon initiation of the shutdown, a mutable audio alert will be heard with a 10 second countdown timer. You will have the option to shutdown now or cancel the shutdown sequence within this time. Once the vehicle is disabled, turning on the ignition initiates a popup that asks if you want the engine to be re-enabled. Selecting yes enables the engine and allows you to start the vehicle.
Anti-Hijacking
If your car is hijacked, simply press your sos button and allow the thieves to go with the car. In a matter of minutes your car will be automatically immobilized even if you lost your mobile phone. Even if the thieves are able to access the SmartMonitor mobile app, they will need to enter the immobilizer password to re-enable the engine.
E-Calling
Not only will the app automatically calls your emergency contact and sends them the exact location with google maps when an accident is detected. It also automatically places your phone on speaker in the event you are pinned down and cant reach your phone.
The E-calling feature is only available on hardware that has the capability of detecting that an accident has occured.
